This kit is applied for quantitative detection of the DNA of Cryptm•oN•u. in Cerebro spiin al fl uiid (CSF). It can be used for the auxiliary diagnosis of Cr.Yp,oru<·<·us infection and monitoring the therapeutic effect of drug treatment for infected patients.
Cryptm·u<·cus is widely distributed in nature, can be found in soil, pigeon dung and eucalypt us, as well as on human skin surface . It usually causes immunosuppressed host infections, such as HIV infection, organ transplantation, malignant tumors, receiving high doses of corticosteroids, and so on. The main infection site is brain. So detection of cryptococcal DNA in CSF can be a key indicator to assist in the diagnosis of crypt ococcall infection.
